Woven Wellness

Intertwining wellness through nurture, nature, and nutrition

Programming

Woven Wellness is the educational piece of the trifecta. It exists to connect the community with the idea that food plays a key role in wellness, through programming and other opportunities. This programming is both conscientious and intentional, with a goal of including culture, tradition, thoughts, and feelings within each conversation, to in turn shift the local food system and cultivate a health conscious community.

Food For Health

Food for Health is a produce prescription program. It is a 10 week program focused on nourishing participants both mentally and physically. Each week, participants attend a class where they receive a curriculum based on nutrition, and information relating to food access and navigating the local food system, a related activity, as well as recipes, and a CSA style basket of produce to bring home with them each week. This opportunity is available both in person and virtually with the option of a class setting or one-on-one sessions. Click the link below to inquire about details.

Farm For Health

Farm For Health Classes are run as 10 week sessions and are similar to Food For Health classes. Rather than focusing on the nutritional aspects of food, these classes focus on learning to grow food to self sustain, as well as learn the cycles and correlations between plant life and human life. In these classes, you will receive a weekly curriculum, and tools needed to begin your garden journey.

These opportunities are offered exclusively through Woke Wellness, and sometimes in collaboration with other local growers, creators, and educators. Each workshops is unique and intentionally crafted to provide a vibrant experience.
